Glossary
ULD (Unit Load Device)
Air cargo container or pallet system used to move freight on aircraft (e.g. LD3, LD6, PMC). Dimensions and limits vary by type and carrier.
Trailer cube
The usable internal volume of a trailer based on internal length, width, and deck height. Load Filler lets you model your own internal dimensions so plans match the vehicle that turns up.
Pallet footprint
The base dimensions of a pallet (e.g. EUR/UK/US or custom). Footprint affects layer counts, overhang, and stack stability.
Racking strip
A fixed area reserved for warehouse racking. In floor planning, you model the usable lane and the reserved racking space so inbound and outbound plans don’t conflict.
